“Le’s play.” “Double it this time.” Gravitas has unveiled an official trailer for an indie pool hall thriller titled Break, which is a rather obvious pool reference when you “break” the game at the start. This will be getting a limited theatrical release later in April, though it hasn’t played at any festivals. In the film, Eli learns that his absent father was a Detroit pool hall legend. He journeys into the Detroit Pool scene, and must confront the realities and dangers of the game, along with his own demons. Michigan-native actor Darren Weiss stars as Eli, joined by Braedyn Bruner as Millie, Victor Rasuk, Jeff Kober, Patricia Belcher, Caleb Emery, Suzen Baraka, Uriah Shelton, Wendy Braun, and Rick Fitts.
