The festive season is almost here, and as is the tradition every year, the Indian automotive market is expected to witness a significant surge in new vehicle sales. In addition to limited-edition models and attractive benefits on existing models, vehicle manufacturers also seize this opportunity to launch all-new models or facelifts of existing models, capitalizing on the excitement surrounding the festive season. This year is no different, with several new cars and SUVs lined up for launch ahead of the festive season, as follows:
Tata Harrier Facelift
Tata Motors has released a new teaser for the updated Harrier, set to launch before the festive season. The teaser showcases the silhouette of the front profile, featuring a full-length LED connecting light bar. The Harrier will receive updates such as a tweaked front grille, new vertical housings for LED projectors, and revised tail lamps with LED inserts. The cabin will also see significant updates, including a new layout and full-TFT screens.

Tata Safari Facelift

In alignment with the refreshed Harrier, Tata Motors is also bringing an extensively updated Safari. The teaser provides a clearer view of the updated Safari’s front profile, presented in a new bronze gold shade. It features a new grille, revised DRLs with a connecting LED bar, and vertical headlamp housings with LED projectors. The updated Safari will also receive an overhauled cabin layout and the updated 2.0-litre diesel engine from the Harrier.
Nissan Magnite AMT

Nissan will introduce new AMT-equipped variants of the Magnite compact SUV, likely to be named EZ-Shift. These variants won’t have any visual changes compared to the existing Magnite variants. However, they will be powered by a 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated 72 PS petrol engine paired with a 5-speed AMT gearbox, a powertrain already available in the Renault Kiger.
Tata Punch.EV

Tata Motors is expanding its lineup of electric vehicles by launching the EV version of the Punch sub-compact SUV in the coming days. The Tata Punch.EV, seen in production-ready form through spy shots, shares styling similarities with its petrol-powered counterpart. It is expected to share battery options with the Tata Nexon.EV Medium Range version.
Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus

The extended version of the Mahindra Bolero Neo has undergone extensive trial runs and is finally poised to hit showroom floors soon. The Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus is likely to share most of its design elements with the sub-four-meter Bolero Neo but will feature a larger and more powerful 2.2-litre diesel engine to accommodate the added weight.
