USC freshman guard Bronny James announced on Instagram that he will enter the 2024 NBA draft while retaining his college eligibility and will also enter the transfer portal.
Despite high expectations after receiving McDonald’s All-American honors in high school, James’ productivity was hampered by a July cardiac arrest episode and a subsequent procedure to address a congenital heart defect, which sidelined him for five months during his freshman year at USC.
