We tend to think of adults as being impervious to high school tomfoolery, but this Dodge Viper driver proved otherwise. While trying to refute accusations of having “no balls,” he promptly crashes into a parked vehicle.
We join the action as the Viper is exiting a parking spot on the side of the street. It’s not clear why, but as the Dodge driver maneuvers, the person behind the camera is taunting its driver from a balcony across the street.

The Viper appears to have been parked on Nebraska St., in Sioux City, Iowa, reports Tire Meets Road. As the driver backs up to provide himself with more room to turn, a second voice from behind the camera says, “he’s gonna hit that Prius,” referring to the Toyota Corolla that the Viper is reversing towards.
Although the Dodge does not hit the Toyota, the cameraman’s shouts of “no balls” do succeed in goading the Viper driver into peeling out from his spot. After its nose is clear of the car ahead, we hear its 8.4-liter V10 rev up, and the tail kicks out a bit.
The driver does hold the initial slide, but overcorrects, and loses control, sliding slowly towards a pair of SUVs parked across the one-way street. Although the Viper hadn’t had time to pick up a whole lot of speed, it was going fast enough to launch a Honda Pilot’s rear end over a curb, and spinning 90 degrees.
While the damage to the innocent Pilot appears to be relatively limited, the front end of the Viper is severely damaged. Its bumper is twisted, its hood has been pried up and off its moorings, and a small pile of debris between the two vehicles speaks to the insurance nightmare that this has no doubt become.
So let that be a lesson to all drivers. Vipers are dangerous, and so are people in the peanut gallery shouting dumb taunts at you.
