Bentley recently announced plans to replace its 6.0-liter W12 engine with a plug-in hybrid twin-turbo V8. Now we know how much power the new powertrain will have generate: 771 horsepower and 737 pound-feet of torque. Bentley announced the specs with the first teasers of the new Continental GT.
This means that the new Continental GT will be the most powerful version yet, since the previous Continental GT Speed had 650 horsepower and 665 pound-feet of torque. Bentley hasn’t released any performance specs, so we’ll have to wait until June when the 2025 Continental GT is going to debut.
Bentley has also confirmed that the new Continental GT will feature active all wheel drive with torque vectoring, four-wheel steering, an electronic Limited Slip Differential, 48V electric active anti-roll control and new dual-valve dampers.
