“If you have any ambition, then you have you fight for it.” Hulu has revealed the first teaser trailer for a series called The Artful Dodger, a spin on Charles Dickens’ classic story Oliver Twist, this time down in Oz. Set in 1850s Australia the series follows adult double life of Charles Dickens’ famous prince of thieves Dodger, now a surgeon, but who can’t shake his predilection for crime. Dodger’s past returns to haunt him with the arrival of Fagin, who wants to lure him back into a world of crime. And an even greater threat — to Dodger’s heart — is Lady Belle Fox (played by Maia Mitchell), the Governor’s daughter, who is determined to become the colony’s first female surgeon. Starring talented young actor Thomas Brodie-Sangster as Jack Dawkins, along with David Thewlis, Damon Herriman, Tim Minchin, Miranda Tapsell, Luke Carroll, Kim Gyngell, Vivienne Awosoga, and Nicholas Burton.
