“There was a promise in America – if you’re strong enough, if you’re tough enough, you can make what’s out there yours.” Warner Bros has debuted a 60-second promo trailer for Horizon: An American Saga from actor / filmmaker Kevin Costner announcing that tickets are now on sale for this release. The first movie in this two-part epic will open in theaters at the end of June this summer. Go see it on the big screen! The two-part western saga chronicles a multi-faceted, 15-year span of pre-and post-Civil War expansion and settlement of the American West. The massive ensemble cast for Horizon: An American Saga includes tons of actors: Costner, Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Jena Malone, Abbey Lee, Danny Huston, Luke Wilson, Giovanni Ribisi, Michael Rooker, Isabelle Fuhrman, Jeff Fahey, Will Patton, Owen Crow Shoe, Tatanka Means, Ella Hunt, Will Patton, Thomas Haden Church, Dale Dickey, and Jamie Campbell Bower, among many others. I caught the first part at the Cannes Film Festival and honestly I found it mesmerizing. There’s so much going on in it, so many characters being introduced, but it looks terrific and feels authentic in its portrayal of the tough Old West. Worth watching when it opens soon. // Continue Reading ›
