In this day and age of welders that tell you what settings to use, and cnc everything, I think that some folks forget to use the basics sometimes. Shaping metal can be done with complicated, expensive, or elaborate tools, but it can also be done with some of the simplest tools too. We are always showing metal shaping videos around here and whether it is shrinking and stretching with a hammer and stump, dollies, or other hand tools, there are a lot of ways to get things done that either don’t involve machinery at all, or that only require some heat and force.
