As you know Dove Holiday Treats have returned with two new scents and one old favorite! The two new scents are Apple Cider Caramel and Pecan Butter Crunch and the returning scent is Dove Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie! I did pick up all three new scents and I’ll review them soon but just wanted to say if you loved Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie from last year it’ssssssssss backkkkkkkkk!
I remember last year I had said I wished Dove Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie had launched a little earlier because it was the perfect Fall scent. And that’s exactly what happened this year which leads me to believe they’ll be a Dove Holidays Treat Collection for Holiday 2024 as well! Does this mean we’ll get Sugar Cookie and possibly Peppermint Bark back? Personally, I wouldn’t mind if Sugar Cookie didn’t come back but I’d love some Peppermint Bark again! It was yum! If they do a Holiday Collection what scents would you like to see? They had a Dove Hot Cocoa Scrub last year which was a Target exclusive and I’d LOVE to see it return along with a body wash, bar soap, and hand soap!
This year, Dove Cinnamon Pumpkin Pie is not only available as a body scrub, body wash, soap bar, and hand wash it’s also available in a deodorant. If every in our life you wanted your pits to smell like a Fall dessert now is your chance to make that happen!
I picked up the body wash and body scrub again as I did go through mine last year! I also, grabbed the deo! Make fun of me all you want but I am not averse to running around smelling like a spicy pumpkin pie! This doesn’t smell entirely edible but more like BPAL’s Pumpkin Spice Latte Perfume. It’s really heavy on the cinnamon and spice and a true pie filling scent but without the crush and sugar. It’s a warm, cozy cinnamon note but not a sugary one. I do wish I could smell a touch of the sugar and crust but the cinnamon def gives off the perfect Fall vibe!
I think the best thing is it pairs up really nice with other fragrances. No one is going to stop you from cocktailing it with shower gels like Bath and Body Works Pumpkin Pecan Waffles or other toasty, warm Fall scents!
The body wash is an exfoliating formula so it has little grainy bits to smooth and soften as you wash. The body scrub is super creamy and has fine grains to it so it isn’t a harsh scrub. It produces creamy lather you apply water.
