Samuel Goldwyn Films has revealed the official trailer for an indie horror creation called Curse of the Sin Eater, marking the feature directorial debut of Texas filmmaker Justin Denton. This initially premiered at Panic Fest 2024 earlier this year, and it’ll be out on VOD to watch in September. Rick – a desperate, poor construction worker – makes a deal with a dying business mogul to inherit his billions. Rick soon discovers that the deal, involving eating the man’s corpse, also means that he has been cursed to inherit the man’s terrifying sins – the many crimes the billionaire committed in order to build his fortune. The film stars Carter Shimp as Rick, Elizabeth Laidlaw, Marcelo Wright, & Larry Yando. This sounds and looks absolutely disgusting and horrifying. What a concept!
