The Memphis Grizzlies have waived Mamadi Diakite, ending his short tenure with the team.
The move was confirmed by NBA insider Shams Charania, who noted that Diakite was acquired from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Ziaire Williams.
The Memphis Grizzlies are releasing Mamadi Diakite, who was acquired from Nets for Ziaire Williams, per sources. Diakite played six games for the Knicks and Spurs last season.
