Royal Enfield has officially released a picture of the upcoming new Himalayan 452 on its social media handles. The image of the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 provides a clear view of the adventure tourer’s front three-quarter look, which has undergone extensive revisions and will be launched as an all-new motorcycle in the upcoming days.
Starting with its appearance, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 has been previewed in a new white-based paint scheme with camouflage-styled decals on the fuel tank. Although it retains the same rugged essence and tall stance in its overall styling, it appears much fresher than the current version of the Himalayan. All body panels, including the fuel tank and tail section, have been revised, giving the new Himalayan 452 an entirely new look.

The front profile of the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 features a revised transparent visor and a new rounded LED headlamp, accompanied by a redesigned high-mounted body-colored front fender. The fuel tank is also new, appearing larger and having a more slanted and curvaceous look than before, while retaining its tubular frame around it, albeit restyled. The side panels have become smaller and sleeker, and the tail section has been updated as well.
The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 retains its split seat arrangement but features a new stubbier exhaust pipe. At the rear, it boasts a new tubular rail for pannier mounts and a unique tail lamp cluster, with the new LED turn indicators also serving as the tail lamps. The new Himalayan 452 is reported to feature a new fully digital rounded instrument console, replacing the current part-digital cluttered console.
Major upgrade
In terms of mechanics, the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 will be a significant improvement over the current Himalayan 411. It will be the first Royal Enfield motorcycle to incorporate liquid cooling for its engine, which will be a larger single-cylinder 452cc engine expected to produce a maximum power output of 40 bhp. The motorcycle also includes a substantial radiator beneath the frontal part of the fuel tank.
The suspension setup of the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is expected to undergo a major upgrade, with the previewed motorcycle featuring upside-down front forks. At the rear, the new Himalayan 452 is expected to have a mono-shock. The braking system is also expected to see enhancements, and riders may find new-age electronics such as traction control and a slipper clutch.
The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 452 is set to arrive in November 2023 and is viewed as a more formidable competitor to current adventure tourers like the KTM 390 Adventure and BMW G 310 GS.
