Michael Moore hasn’t directed a film since 2018’s “Fahrenheit 11/9.”
The far-Left filmmaker spends his time opining on MSNBC, weighing in on world events via Substack and, on occasion, producing documentaries.
Moore recently signed on to executive produce “From Ground Zero: Stories from Gaza,” a documentary taking the Palestinians’ side in the current Middle East conflict.
Moore hopes his name and dwindling cache help the film’s marketing efforts. The film currently sports a 95 percent “fresh” rating at RottenTomatoes.com.
The press release for the film, available in limited release now, finds Moore dubbing Israel’s counter-attack on Gaza as “genocide.” It’s a popular position on the modern Left, embraced by comedienne Michelle Wolf, among many others.
“These Palestinian filmmakers have accomplished a cinematic miracle. They have made a brilliant film in the midst of what Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have now declared a genocide. The only weapons that Rashid and these 22 courageous Palestinian directors in Gaza have are their cameras and their creativity. No filmmaker, writer, or artist should ever have to tell the story of their own extermination. It’s an honor to stand in solidarity with them and help share their stories with the world.”
Actor/comedian Michael Rapaport would like a word with Moore.
The “Atypical” alum is one of Israel’s staunchest Hollywood defenders. He has spent the last year-plus highlighting the plight of the hostages still being held by Hamas. He’s shamed Hollywood for ignoring the issue at various awards shows, including a scathing Oscar satire released last year.
Rapaport couldn’t let Moore’s film go unchallenged.

The video in question features a series of clips where Hamas terrorists tortured and/or killed innocent Israelis on Oct. 7. Films like “Screams Before Silence,” mostly ignored by movie critics, covered similar, horrific territory.
Hollywood’s MeToo contingent mostly looked the other way following Hamas’ systematic rape and torture of Israeli women. Moore isn’t interest in making a film about those atrocities, apparently.
Rapaport wants him to learn about it all the same.
