2006 NBA champion, who played for the Boston Celtics gives his verdict on one New York Knicks star’s recent form.
There are only a handful of teams in the debate for the best teams in the Eastern Conference.
The Boston Celtics are obviously there as they are currently the defending champions of the NBA and hold the second seed in the conference.
With that said, the New York Knicks aren’t that far behind as they are third in the East standings. Karl-Anthony Towns deserves a huge amount of praise for the Knicks’ rise to stardom.

Antoine Walker on Karl-Anthony Towns
The NBA is an ever-evolving league and today it demands every position on the floor to be an efficient scorer from all three levels.
Towns fits that description perfectly, and even 2006 NBA champion Antoine Walker has fallen in love with his game.
“I’m starting to fall in love now with Karl-Anthony Towns man over the past two years,” Walker said.
He added: “The way he’s transformed his game now, mixing and matching with the three and going inside now, I’m loving what he’s doing.”
KAT has averaged 25.4 points, 13.9 rebounds, and 3.3 assists per game over 38 appearances this season. He is a key driving factor in the Knicks’ current record of 27-16.
Walker has a few more names as contenders for his favorite player in the NBA
While Towns has made an impression on the ex-Celtic star, few more names have done the same in the modern era.
“I’m a little biased towards the boys Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, getting to know them personally, getting to know them personally, I love what they are doing up there,” Walker continued.
“I’m still a Giannis fan, I like what Giannis is doing in Milwaukee. I still appreciate KD. I’m a little biased towards guys that are 6 8″ to 6 10″ that shoot it, put it on the floor,” he concluded.
All things considered, Walker loves a big man who can shoot. Apart from that, the Celtics duo of Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown was a natural choice for the former organization veteran.
