After a rough start to life in the NBA, Bronny James is finding his groove in the G-League. The son of LeBron James has been playing really well.
Bronny has found the right level with the South Bay Lakers. For the season, he is averaging 16.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists.
And tonight, he had his best game with them, scoring 31 points, two rebounds, and three assists, and made five three-pointers.
It was a sensational performance from the former USC guard. And fans were thrilled about what they saw from Bronny.

Lakers fans sound off on Bronny James ‘silencing hater’
Los Angeles Lakers fans took to X in droves to praise Bronny James. One fan simply noted, “We really got Bronny James for the next 20 years when LeBron retires.”
“Bronny is the future!!,” said another fan. Some praised Bronny for his perseverance, writing, “All the hard work, Bronny, it’s all paying off now. Congrats!”
Some fans brought the humor, saying, “Bronny baptizes you? Then just get ready to fill out the Amazon application, your basketball career is over.”
One fan threw shade at Jaylen Brown’s comments this past summer, “Career high by Bronny James. What a coincidence, after a huge win the night before by the ‘Bronny is not a pro’….”
There is no denying that Lakers fans are behind Bronny James. The outpouring of support has been good to see, considering how difficult his start to NBA life was.

Bronny trying to find his way
Bronny James entered the NBA as the 54th overall pick in the 2024 NBA draft. And when he first made the jump, many were critical of him.
They accused him and his family of taking advantage of his father’s position. For his part, James recently defended Bronny, claiming that he can do whatever he wants with his life.
Bronny has done well, as last night wasn’t his only strong performance in the G-League. But on the night of his previous best performance, another teammate earned the plaudits.
No one can blame LeBron James for helping his son. And at the end of the day, it is still an opportunity. Bronny will have to earn whatever he gets in this league.
