Virtus Segafredo Bologna revealed that Italian national team player Achille Polonara will undergo surgery to remove a recently discovered testicular neoplasm.
The official report states that the recovery period will be communicated post-operation. Polonara, who returned to Italian basketball after four years, joined Virtus last summer.
