Denver Nuggets general manager, Calvin Booth, openly discussed his approach to constructing the roster since assuming the role two seasons ago.
Booth emphasized the importance of achieving a balance, particularly in terms of offense and defense. This pursuit of equilibrium prompted a trade last season.
Regarding the trade involving young guard Bones Hyland, Booth attributed the decision to a combination of defensive and financial considerations.
He pointed out that there was significant redundancy in having both Hyland and Michael Porter Jr.
