Four-time NBA champion Klay Thompson’s contract situation with the Golden State Warriors has reached an impasse as he enters the final year of his current deal.
Both parties are keen to continue their partnership, but NBA insider Shams Charania reveals a significant gap between their expectations.
“The Warriors and Klay Thompson have been discussing an extension, but from what I’m told there’s a significant gap in years and money,” Charania said on Run It Back.
