Ever wonder whether you can do a really big job with a relatively cheap tool? In this case the answer is a resounding YES YOU CAN! I mean if I needed to move a couple thousand gallons of water out of a pool or something, then one of these $399 pumps from Harbor Freight would sound like a great idea. I mean it says it can pump up to 290 gallons per minute. That’s a ton of water. But will it run all day? How about 4 days? Okay, closer to 3.5 days, but still. That’s running 24 hours a day. Would you buy one of these and think it could run that long without issue? 10 years ago I might have said no. Today I know that Harbor Freight stuff is usually pretty durable. And when I was done with it, I’d probably yank the engine off of it to put on a Go Kart or something. I mean who wouldn’t right?
