The Kingdom Hearts franchise is returning with Kingdom Hearts: Missing Link, an upcoming game for iOS and Android that explores new corners of the story. Kingdom Hearts games stand out from other Action RPGs with crossover elements from Disney films and Square Enix's Final Fantasy franchise, although its increasingly plentiful helping of original narrative and characters have helped it grow into a complex work of its own. Missing Link is far from the first Kingdom Hearts title to act as a spinoff to the numbered games, but it is the first action RPG since 2019's Kingdom Hearts 3.
