The Czech automaker Skoda’s Kushaq is one of the most popular mid-size SUVs in the country. It is based on the Volkswagen Group’s MQB A0 IN platform, which is also shared with the Skoda Slavia, VW Virtus, and Tiguan. Recently, Skoda launched the new and updated 2023 iteration of the Kushaq. With this update, the company has added a few new additional features and brought back some discontinued features as well. A video showing all of these additions has been shared online.
The video of the new 2023 Skoda Kushaq has been shared on YouTube by The Car Show on their channel. The video starts off with the presenter talking about the pricing of the new 2023 Skoda Kushaq mid-size SUV. He states that currently the Skoda Kushaq starts at Rs 10.89 lakh and goes up to Rs 20.1 lakh in India. He then briefly highlights the newly added features on the 2023 model.

Exterior Updates
Front
The presenter starts off at the front of the model. The new 2023 updated Kushaq gets the same LED projector headlamps with LED DRLs and halogen lower beams. It also gets halogen fog lights and turn indicators. Next, he mentions that the grille gets chrome surrounds as well as chrome on the lower portion of the bumper. It also gets a silver skid plate.
Kushaq 1.5 TSI Engine
Next, he talks about the powertrain options of the Skoda Kushaq. He mentions that the SUV is offered with two powertrain options. The first is a 1.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine, and the other is a 1.5-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine. This particular SUV is the 1.5-litre engined model. The presenter mentions that this engine produces around 150 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, making it the more performance-oriented powerplant.
Side
Moving on to the side profile, the vlogger mentions that the new 2023 Kushaq gets alloy wheels. This time around, the company is offering the Kushaq with a set of 17-inch silver 10-spoke directional alloy wheels. Apart from this, the Skoda Kushaq remains exactly the same as the outgoing model, and no major changes have been made.
Rear
Following this, he moves to the rear of the SUV and mentions that not much has been changed there as well. The first thing he mentions is that it still gets the same LED taillights, which also have halogen bulbs for reverse lights and turn indicators. In addition to these, it gets a new addition, which is a new 1.5 TSI badge that did not come in the previous model. It also gets a new chrome strip on the tailgate.
Interior Updates
After showing the exterior updates, the presenter moves to the interior of the new 2023 Kushaq mid-size SUV. The first update he shows is the newly added powered seats on the front. He mentions that the company is offering both seats with powered functioning and ventilation. Apart from this, the 2023 model also sees the return of the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, which was earlier discontinued by the brand.
