Despite the Pelicans’ efforts to contain Curry, the four-time NBA champion’s explosive scoring, combined with a crucial 13-1 run led by Chris Paul off the bench, solidified the Warriors’ commanding lead.
While Zion Williamson’s 19-point contribution helped the Pelicans stay competitive in the first half, the team struggled to contain Curry’s offensive onslaught in the second half, marking their first loss of the season after two initial victories.
