Creator Bryan Lee O’Malley returned to develop this, with his distinct visual style coming to life on the screen as an animation series for streaming. Scott Pilgrim meets the girl of his dreams, Ramona Flowers, but learns he must defeat her seven evil exes in order to date her. Then things get even more complicated. Scott Pilgrim Takes Off runs 8 eps – with the voices of Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Satya Bhabha, Kieran Culkin, Chris Evans, Alison Pill, Brie Larson, Aubrey Plaza, Anna Kendrick, Brandon Routh, Jason Schwartzman, Johnny Simmons, Mark Webber, Mae Whitman, and Ellen Wong (pretty much the entire cast from Edgar Wright’s movies back again).
