Disney is set to launch two new Star Wars lightsaber hilts that will be available to buy at Disney Parks and online. This reveal is part of Lucasfilm’s Gift the Galaxy promotion for the 2023 holiday season. These include the Kanan Jarrus Legacy Lightsaber Hilt and the Stellan Gios Legacy Lightsaber Hilt. The hilts will be available to order here at shopDisney.
The Stellan Gios hilt has an online release date set for November 17th at 8am PT / 11am ET. Stellan Gios is a Jedi Master who is a part of the High Republic series of books that Lucasfilm has produced over the last few years. The hilt replica is the first from Star Wars: The High Republic, and it will feature light and sound effects. It will also comes with a comic book and a collectible wooden case. It’s expected to be limited to 5000 units and the price will be in the $170-$200 range.
Then there’s the Kanan Jarrus aka Caleb Dume Lightsaber hilt, which is already available to buy in the Parks but it will be released online on November 29th (most likely at 8am PT / 11am ET). This is the Lightsaber that was wielded by Freddie Prinze Jr.’s character from Star Wars: Rebels. It comes complete with light and sound effects, and the hilt replica will retail for $169.99.
