Porsche has unveiled the third generation 2024 Panamera sedan, which gets new styling, improved tech and updated powertrains. This time around the Panamera will only be offered as a sedan, since the Sport Turismo wagon has been discontinued due to slow sales.

On the outside the 2024 Panamera’s styling isn’t a huge departure from the last generation. The overall shape looks familiar, but it does get some changes to give it a sportier look. Like bigger fenders and air intakes, while the rear gets a new full-width light bar.
Porsche already previewed the new cabin, which gets many of the updates that debuted in the 2024 Cayenne. The tech has been upgraded with a 12.6-inch digital instrument cluster, a 10.9-inch infotainment screen and an optional 10.9-inch screen on the passenger side. On the safety side, the adaptive cruise control and driver assistance systems have been updated. The Panamera can also be remotely parked.

Under the hood the standard engine is a turbocharged 2.9-liter V-6 with 348 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque, that’s mated to an eight-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission. That’s an increase of 23 hp and 37 lb.-ft. The standard RWD Panamera can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.0 seconds with a top track speed of 169 mph. The all-wheel drive Panamera 4 does the 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds and has a top track speed of 168 mph.

Then there’s the all-wheel-drive Turbo E-Hybrid, which is the first of four hybrid Panamera models that are planned. It’s powered by a 4.0 liter twin-turbo V8 paired with an electric motor that generates a combined 670 hp and 685 lb.-ft. of torque. The Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds and has a top track speed of 195 mph. A Turbo S version is expected, which will have over 700 horsepower.
The Panamera comes standard with a two-chamber, two-valve air suspension which also includes Porsche Active Suspension Management. There’s also the optional Porsche Active Ride system on E-Hybrid models that to absorb any imperfections in the road and the optional active suspension that distributes the wheel load to keep the Panamera planted to the road. Rear-axle steering is also optional. Porsche says that the new Panamera then leans into corners like a motorcycle, leans forward under acceleration and tilts back under braking.
The pricing for the 2024 Porsche Panamera starts at $101,550, including destination and the Panamera 4 starts at $108,550, which are expected to arrive in spring 2024. Porsche has not announced the pricing or availability of the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid.
