Great Pretender, an original anime by Wit Studio, has confirmed a sequel series that will be released worldwide in 2024!
Titled Great Pretender: Razbliuto, the sequel will star a new character, a talented swindler named Dorothy.
Directed by Hiro Kaburagi, Great Pretender aired from June to September 2020. The story follows Makoto “Edamame” Edamura, a swindler who is launched into the world of international fraud after trying to con a French con man.
Kaburagi will return to direct the new season and handle series composition once again alongside Taku Kishimoto. Hirotaka Kato will handle character designs, and Hirotaka Kato and Shosuke Ishibashi will serve as chief animation directors.
Great Pretender: Razbliuto will be released worldwide in 2024.
