It’s another triumphant look at this film about the life of this great conductor. It first premiered at the 2023 Venice Film Festival and it also played at NYFF. Maestro is a “towering love story” chronicling the lifelong relationship between Leonard Bernstein and Felicia Montealegre Cohn Bernstein. A love letter to life and art, Maestro at its core is an emotionally epic portrayal of family and love.
