In a significant development reported by NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski, Marc Lore and Alex Rodriguez are poised to exercise their option to acquire a controlling ownership interest in the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx from current owner Glen Taylor, with the deadline for this transaction set for December 31.
The potential acquisition would formalize the duo’s intent to purchase an additional 40 percent of the franchise from Taylor, ultimately granting Lore and Rodriguez 80 percent ownership of both teams.
