I am really tired. This holiday season at work has been the most draining in my 16 years with Birks and sadly not because of shoppers. Hopefully, things get better in the new year, but for now I am treating my mind and body with kid gloves with sleep and comfort food. You have no idea how many truffles I have eaten in the last few weeks! They have all been from local chocolatier, Coconama, who makes some of the most unique tasting truffles around in flavours like Salad, Apple Mint, Black Sesame, Lavender and Tofu! Highly recommended!
I have had my nails painted all holiday season, but not with holiday nail art which has been a bit sad. I have at least chosen to only wear holiday nail polishes from the new OPI “Terribly Nice” collection with this week being the shimmery teal shade “Let’s Scrooge” which frankly sounds a bit like a play on the phrase “Let’s F***”, but like many nail polish shade names, it’s all very saucy and tongue-in-cheek.
