The number of users of social media in this day and age is just growing, and it doesn’t seem like it will be slowing down anytime soon. Now, as the number of users increases, so does the type of users. There are people who like to show the reality of their lives, but there are also some who like to flaunt their lifestyle. What also happens is some people receive warm comments on their posts, while some also get trolled. Recently suffering from the latter, a young boy named Srinivas Reddy from Hyderabad found himself in a social media trolling storm after taking delivery of a Mercedes-Benz GLS worth over Rs. 1 crore.
The video showing Srinivas Reddy, a young boy taking delivery of his Mercedes-Benz GLS 400, has been shared by the official social media accounts of a Mercedes-Benz dealership in Hyderabad. In the short video, the youngster is seen completing the formalities of purchasing the flagship Mercedes-Benz GLS 400. This SUV is currently the flagship SUV of standard Mercedes-Benz models and is an extremely powerful SUV boasting a 3.0-liter inline-six diesel engine. This motor generates a maximum of 326 bhp and 700 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission.
Why was he trolled by the internet?
Now, the peculiar thing about this delivery video on which Reddy was trolled was that he looks very young to be able to purchase a Rs. 1 crore SUV. Also, a number of netizens criticized and raised questions about the young boy’s eligibility and financial standing to afford such a high-end vehicle. A lot of users also trolled the young boy in the comments for taking delivery of such an expensive vehicle with his personal bodyguards rather than his family members.

Apart from being trolled for being too young to be able to afford the SUV on his own and being accompanied by his bodyguards, Reddy was also questioned in the comments for his ability to even drive the luxury SUV. A lot of netizens had concerns whether he had reached the legal age of 18 to obtain a driving license. The online debate also quickly escalated, with social media users expressing doubt about the authenticity of the purchase. Lastly, there were a ton of comments urging the boy to stop flaunting his wealth, which he most likely didn’t earn.
