In a gesture of unity for Arsenal’s “No More Red” campaign, which focuses on combating knife crime and safeguarding UK youth, Liverpool will wear the alternate color.
The unusual-looking “space” purple kit is actually the Reds 23/24 third kit. The club debuted the shirt against their Europa League opener against LASK last year.
Meanwhile, Arsenal is too ditching its traditional red colors for an all-white color way. It marks the club’s third consecutive year donning the whiteout kit, thereby supporting the campaign against knife crime.
However, Arsenal will be wearing the shirt for the first time at the Emirates.
