Indiana Pacers guard, Buddy Hield, finds himself at the center of trade talks as the team looks to make a move before the deadline.
At 31 years old and on an expiring four-year, $94 million contract, Hield’s refusal to sign an extension with the Pacers has prompted the front office to explore potential trades.
The sharpshooting guard drew interest from the Los Angeles Lakers last season.
NBA insider Jake Fischer, speaking on the No Cap Room podcast, revealed that Hield turned down extension offers from Indiana in the fall, leading to the decision to actively shop him before the trade deadline.
