Anthony Edwards has a lot to smile about these days. The debut of his adidas AE1 signature shoe, which occurred just days ago in Atlanta, has been met with widespread praise. Many adidas Hoops fans have called it the best signature shoe since the early D-Rose era, and with the brand redirecting its approach to basketball footwear, things are only looking up for the three stripes.
For Media Day for the Minnesota Timberwolves, their superstar was spotted rocking a new colorway of the adidas AE1 in a never-before-seen teal/black colorway. A team-based colorway isn’t much of a surprise when it comes to signature shoe colorways, but they’re a far cry from the pink peach iterations that were revealed just days ago.
Currently, the adidas AE1 isn’t expected to release until December 2023, and as the anticipation continues to build, we’ll be sure to discover new versions of the Anthony Edwards shoes in the process. Stay tuned for updates.
