Finally something that might just live up to the classic Escape from Alcatraz! Hopefully. Based on the true story of Quawntay “Bosco” Adams, who also produced the film. Sentenced to 35 years for attempted possession of marijuana, Adams miraculously escaped from a Federal maximum-security prison in 2006 while under 24-hour surveillance in solitary with the help of a woman he met through a lonely-hearts ad. This features a compelling cast including Aubrey Joseph as “Bosco”, Nikki Blonsky as “Tammy”, Tyrese Gibson as “Tootie”, Vivica A. Fox as “Willa”, Theo Rossi as “Ramos”, and Thomas Jane as “Hunt”.
