You ever use a product for years and years and not realize there are different formulations of it available? That was me with this cleansing balm! All this time I had no idea there was a fragrance-free formula and I’m ever so happy that now I do know.
I recently rediscovered my love of Elemis when they launched Pro-Collagen Green Fig Cleansing Balm. I’m really love that new scent. It’s a nice tranquil, earthy fragrance! Reminds me of a day at the spa!
Elemis has been known to release a new seasonal scent from time to time but Green Fig caught my unaware as it was a while since I actually used Elemis Cleansing Balm and was delighted to reunite with it when I was kindly sent a sample of Green Fig. I nearly forgot why I stopped using this because it really is an awesome cleansing balm for dry skin peeps like me. It has this delicious vaseline-like consistency that’s super moisturizing and feels incredible on skin. I wish I could sleep in this stuff! It would make a great slugging cream! It rinses clean away though, removes makeup easily, and leaves skin super smooth.
I’ve been using this formula for a while but until recently I never knew they had a Pro-Collagen Naked Cleansing Balm which is fragrance-free. Don’t get me wrong I love a good fragrance moment in my skincare (I know, I know fragrance isn’t good for my skin) but lately, as I get older, I do appreciate fragrance-free products more and more (I do so wish Tatcha had more fragrance-free formulas)! I was delighted finding out about the Pro-Collagen Naked Cleansing Balm after getting a small version in a sample pack at Ulta. It was the Mini Pro-Collagen Naked Cleansing Balm which is normally $17 but I got it for free with a purchase I made! Since that time I’ve purchased the larger version which was totally worth a grab because with this cold Winter weather it’s my go to for removing my makeup without stripping my skin!
If you’re a sensitive user or just don’t like fragrance in your skincare I’d recommend picking up Elemis Pro-Collagen Naked Cleansing Balm.
