The Milwaukee Bucks have swiftly secured their next head coach in Doc Rivers, less than 24 hours after the dismissal of rookie head coach Adrian Griffin. ESPN confirmed the hiring, with a “very lucrative” contract expected for Rivers, as reported by Sports Illustrated.
The former 76ers coach emerged as the frontrunner for the position following the surprising decision to part ways with Griffin. Rivers, returning to coaching after a brief ESPN analyst role, brings 25 years of coaching experience to the Bucks.
