Subaru has announced the updates to the 2024 Solterra electric SUV, which is getting some small tweaks to make it more appealing.
The big news is that the battery conditioning system has been upgraded so that the 2024 Solterra can charge at temperatures below freezing faster, up to 80 minutes faster. It can also be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in 35 minutes.
Inside the Solterra gets a new steering wheel. The Solterra also gets the new Subaru EyeSight driver assistance suite, which is not yet available on any other Subaru model. The Solterra can take over the steering, acceleration and braking at speeds up to 25 mph with only driver supervision. The 2024 Solterra can also change lanes on command by activating a turn signal, and it also gets the addition of Front Cross Traffic Alert. Lastly theres a new DriverFocus Distraction Mitigation System.
The pricing for the 2024 Solterra is the same as last year’s model. It starts at $46,340, including destination.
