M.T.B. Nagaraj of Hosakote, near Bangalore, is a popular name in Karnataka politics. He is currently the state minister for small-scale industries and municipal administration. Other than politics, Mr. Nagaraj is also known for his collection of expensive cars. He is probably one of the richest politicians in the country with a variety of expensive and exotic cars. A video of M.T.B. Nagaraj has now surfaced online where he is seen taking delivery of a brand new Range Rover luxury SUV.
The video was published by Shakti Land Rover on their YouTube channel. In this video, the state minister and his family are seen taking delivery of their brand new luxury SUV. The Range Rover SUV seen here belongs to the current generation and is extremely popular among rich businessmen and celebrities in India. Nagaraj bought the SUV in Lantau Bronze shade. The exact spec of this SUV is not known as it is available with both petrol and diesel engine options. The price for a brand new Range Rover starts at Rs 2.39 crore and goes up to Rs 4.17 crore (ex-showroom).
The SUV is available with features like a 35-speaker Meridian sound system equipped with active noise cancellation that filters out wheel vibrations, tire noise, and engine sounds using counter-cancelling signals. It also boasts a new 13.1-inch floating infotainment screen and a fully digital instrument cluster. Other features include a Head-Up Display, multi-zone climate control, a four-spoke steering wheel, a rear-seat entertainment screen, and many more.
Other Cars in Nagaraj’s Collection
As mentioned above, Mr. Nagaraj owns a variety of expensive cars in his garage. Here we have another video that gives a glimpse of some of the vehicles in his collection. The newly bought Range Rover is also seen here in this video that was recorded during the Ayudha Puja.
Rolls Royce Phantom VIII
The eighth-generation Rolls Royce Phantom owned by Mr. Nagaraj is finished in white. It is powered by a 6.75-liter twin-turbocharged V12 petrol engine, which produces 563 bhp of maximum power and 900 Nm of torque.
Ferrari F8 Tributo
Probably the only supercar in Nagaraj’s collection. The blue-colored Ferrari is powered by a 3.9-liter twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine, pumping out 710 bhp of power and 770 Nm. The price for this supercar starts at around Rs 4.02 crore, ex-showroom.
Land Rover Defender
This is another hit product from Land Rover. Mr. Nagaraj owns this SUV in Gondwana Stone Metallic shade which looks elegant. The SUV is available with 2.0-liter and 3.0-liter petrol engines, as well as a 3.0-liter diesel engine. Last year, the manufacturer also introduced a 5.0-liter V8 petrol engine option for both the Defender 110 and 90 versions.
Porsche Cayenne
Nagaraj owns the older version of this popular 5-door SUV. The SUV owned by Mr. Nagaraj is probably drawing power from a 3.0-liter V6 diesel engine that generates 340 bhp and 450 Nm of peak torque.
Bentley Continental GT
Nagaraj also owns a Bentley Continental GT. This two-door luxury coupe is not seen here in the video. It has immense road presence and is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged W12 petrol engine that generates 500 bhp and 660 Nm of peak torque.
Other than these expensive and exotic cars, Mr. Nagaraj also owns a Toyota Fortuner and a Toyota Innova Crysta in his garage. The Fortuner is the pre-facelift 4×4 model. He also owns a Maruti Omni but it is not clear whether this minivan was used by the politician himself or does his staff use it. He also owns cars like the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado and Mercedes GL350 CDI in his collection.
