NBA insider Shams Charania has reported that free agent forward/center Wenyen Gabriel is in the final stages of negotiations to join the Boston Celtics.
Gabriel, who contributed an average of 5.5 points and 4.2 rebounds per game for the Los Angeles Lakers last season, is set to bolster the Celtics’ frontcourt and compete for a crucial role as a reserve big man.
