The adidas Harden Volume 8, long rumored and teased, finally got their full debut over All-Star weekend. Included in that first official look were six colorways on the schedule for the next several months. The first, a “Sculpt” Harden Vol 8 is tabbed to drop in just a few days. Already teeing up the next step, adidas is giving a look at the upcoming “Pioneer” colorway of the Clipper star’s signature shoe.
When looking at promo photos from that announcement, its evidently clear that neon hues will play a major role in the strategy for the Vol. 8. Where these share DNA with the rest is in their predominantly black upper, emphasizing their sleek, plush form factor. Yet the “Pioneer” still break a bit from the pack, instead opting for more orthodox colors.
The circular EVA cage that’s been the main attention grabber is clad in neutral toned textile, carrying through to a white sole. There is where the “Better Scarlet” red shade makes its appearance, bleeding up from the rubber padding to overhang on that cage. In this “Cloud White/Core Black/Better Scarlet” arrangement, it’s just a touch of royal blue short from being the perfect fit for his current LA uniform.
The “Pioneer” Harden Vol. 8 launches via adidas.com and the Confirmed app on March 1st, retailing for $160. Take a look below for the full suite of official images.
