- Voice actress Azusa Tadokoro has announced the upcoming release of her 14th single titled “Private Room.” This song has been chosen as the ending theme for the second season of the TV anime Mononogatari, scheduled to air in Japan in July 2023. In addition, a new artist photo has been unveiled.
- Following the success of her previous single, “Drum-shiki Tansaki,” lyricist Kosuke Oki and composer John Kanda have collaborated once again to create a thought-provoking song that challenges our assumptions about the words we use and the sensations we take for granted. John Kanda was also involved with creating the BGM music for Mononogatari, and the song’s links to the anime is one of the highlights. I feel incredibly privileged to have the opportunity to perform the ending theme for the second season of Mononogatari. “Private Room” was crafted around the theme of “words,” which resonates with the challenges faced by Botan-chan, the anime’s heroine, as well as with the issues we encounter in our modern lives. I was also very impressed with the gorgeous ending animation. I hope you will enjoy it along with the music.
