From the world of Spy x Family, cosplayers embodied the charm of the Forger family, making AX a real family trip complete with baby Anya. We wonder if Anya was on a mission to find the giant fluffy Totoro!?
Recently, the anime industry has graced us with a blast from the past, reintroducing old classics through remakes that have been just as popular as the new shows. The timeless characters from Gundam, Yu Gi Oh, Evangelion, Card Captor Sakura, Berserk, and One Piece captured the essence of their respective shows, adding a touch of nostalgia to the convention floor.

Videogame characters also made their presence during this year’s AX. Last year, many fans of Genshin Impact cosplayed as their favorite character, this year and with the expansion into the Hoyoverse, many more fans explored the franchise cosplaying as their favorite character from the newest Mihoyo installation – Honkai: Star Rail.
But it wasn’t just Anime and video game characters, this year we could see some VTuber cosplays entering the roster, like the famous little shark, Gawr Gura.
