Hair slugging offers a similar approach to combating dryness and restoring hydration by applying a moisturizing product from the mid-length to the ends of the hair and leaving it in overnight, resulting in impressive transformations by your morning cup of coffee!
Just as slugging in skincare involves sealing in moisture with occlusive products, slugging hair aims to retain hydration by using moisturizing products overnight. The technique primarily targets dry and damaged hair, providing a much-needed boost of moisture and preventing breakage. While various products can be used for slugging hair, popular choices include leave-in conditioners, hair masks, and serums.
To jump on the slugging hair trend, choose a leave-in conditioner, hair mask, or serum suitable for your hair type.
