At Sony’s recently-aired presentation, the Honkai Star Rail (Free) PS5 release date was officially announced with a new trailer. While the date itself isn’t too relevant to us here, pre-registering for the PS5 version has rewards for players on all platforms. Honkai Star Rail on PS5 will be following the recent version 1.3 update “Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins” update that hit mobile and PC platforms. This update added in in a new area, new characters (Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae, Fuxuan, and Lynx), and quality of life features to the game. Details on some of the notable new features are here. Honkai Star Rail hits PS5 on October 11, and pre-registration is now live here on the official website. Pre-registering lets you claim up to a maximum of 4-Star Light Cone, “The Seriousness of Breakfast (Erudition)” ×1. Watch the new Fu Xuan “Omniscia Spares None” trailer below:

After the game launches, logging into it on PS5 will get you an added reward as detailed here. I’ve been waiting for the PS5 version ever since it was announced, and will be definitely playing the game more once it arrives next month. If you’ve not gotten Honkai Star Rail yet, you can download it on the App Store for iOS here, on Google Play for Android here, and here on the Epic Games Store in addition to its regular PC version.
