Following its full worldwide launch, Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII compendium game Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis (Free) for iOS and Android has just gotten its first major update. This update brings in a brand-new original story chapter only available in this game featuring a playable Young Sephiroth. The update went live a few hours ago with the newest chapter titled The First Soldier now available in-game. In addition to the new chapter, this update adds support for an event, and more. The event features a guaranteed 5* weapon draw for weapons that can be only used by Sephiroth. The event is on from now until October 12th at 9:59 PM EDT. Check out the weapon draw image below:
Square Enix also announced that the game is in development for Steam with progress syncing across mobile and PC. I’m interested to see how the Steam version looks on Steam Deck when it launches.
