Former NBA forward Stephen Jackson believes Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James are the top three players of all time. Jackson played against all three legends during his NBA career.
Jordan averaged 30.1 points, 6.2 rebounds and 5.3 assists during his career with the Chicago Bulls and Washington Wizards. He won six titles, six Finals MVPs, five regular-season MVPs, 10 scoring titles, three steals titles and three All-Star Game MVPs with the Bulls. Jordan is one of three players in NBA history to win MVP and Defensive Player of the Year in the same season. Houston Rockets icon Hakeem Olajuwon and Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo are the other two.

Jordan is fifth in NBA history in points, first in points per game, third in steals and first in player efficiency rating. He holds the record for the most points scored in a playoff game (63).
Bryant averaged 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists in 1,346 regular-season games with the Los Angeles Lakers. He was an 18-time All-Star, five-time champion, four-time All-Star Game MVP, two-time Finals MVP, two-time scoring champion, 15-time All-NBA Team member, 12-time All-Defensive Team member and the 2007-08 MVP.
Bryant is fourth on the NBA’s all-time scoring list. He scored 33,643 points during his career. The Black Mamba put up 81 points in a game against the Toronto Raptors during the 2005-06 season. It’s the second-highest scoring output in a game in NBA history.
LeBron is the only player in NBA history to rank top five all-time in both points and assists. The King has career averages of 27.2 points, 7.5 rebounds and 7.3 assists with the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Lakers. LeBron is the only player in NBA history to win three Finals MVPs with three different teams. He’s a four-time champion, four-time Finals MVP and four-time regular-season MVP.

A 19-time All-Star, LeBron is first in NBA history in points, fourth in assists, ninth in steals, fourth in triple-doubles, third in player efficiency rating, sixth in points per game and second in win shares.
