Yes, this is one of those awesome 1980s VHS transfers that we all love so much around here. Before DVDs and streaming, and YouTube (ironically) there were limited channels to air stuff on. That meant that there was a huge audience of people, specifically motorsports enthusiasts that were pining to see their favorite mechanical mayhem on their TV sets and there was only one way for them to get it. Buying VHS tapes. I remember getting catalogs of these things as a kid. You bought one and for years to follow you got the monthly look at whatever company you bought the first one from.
Monster trucks videos made people LOADS of money back in the 1980s. Perhaps not the drivers and owners directly but definitely the production houses that were cranking them out. Cheap to make and plentiful, they were all over the place and thankfully many of them landed under my Christmas tree or in the mailbox growing up. This was not one of them.
