The Toyota Venza is often overlooked, but the comfortable crossover is returning for 2024 with a base price of $34,920.
Costing $300 more than its predecessor, the 2024 Venza appears to carryover untouched. As a result, the entry-level LE trim has LED lighting units, privacy glass, a hands-free power liftgate, and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Moving inside, buyers will find a 7-inch display in the instrument cluster as well as an 8-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. They’re joined by a leather-wrapped power steering wheel, a wireless smartphone charger, and a six-speaker audio system. Other highlights include an eight-way power driver’s seat and a dual-zone automatic climate control system.

The model also has Automatic High Beams, Road Sign Assist, and a Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert.
At the other end of the spectrum, the range-topping Venza Limited starts at $43,065. It’s distinguished by silver roof rails, additional chrome trim, rain-sensing wipers, and larger 19-inch wheels.
Buyers will also find a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system, and a head-up display. They’re joined by a heated leather steering wheel as well as heated and ventilated front seats that feature perforated SofTex upholstery and eight-way power adjustment on both sides.
It’s also worth mentioning the Nightshade variant returns and is based on the XLE trim. The model starts at $40,255 and has a Celestial Black, Wind Chill Pearl or Ruby Flare Red exterior that is accompanied by black accents, smoked chrome finishes, and gloss black 19-inch wheels.
Regardless of which trim is selected, all Venzas are equipped with a hybridized 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a rear-mounted electric motor. This setup gives the crossover all-wheel drive as well as a combined output of 219 hp (163 kW / 222 PS). While the output isn’t very impressive, the crossover returns 40 mpg city, 37 mpg highway, and 39 mpg combined.
