Joel Embiid, the reigning NBA MVP, has committed to representing Team USA at the Paris 2024 Olympics. This adds another marquee name to the already impressive roster, which includes LeBron James, Steph Curry, Kevin Durant, Devin Booker, and more.
Upon learning of Embiid’s commitment, James expressed his excitement, saying, “That’s awesome. To us? Great. It’s big-time.”
When asked if he had reached out to Embiid to influence his decision, LeBron playfully responded with a smile, saying, “I have no idea.”
