The Charlotte Hornets big man Kai Jones has submitted a trade request, he announced on social media (Twitter link).
Jones is taking an indefinite break from the Hornets, and there’s no set date for his return. This decision follows a string of unusual social media posts, where the 22-year-old criticized some of his teammates.
Despite being a first-round pick in 2021 (19th overall), Jones has had limited playing time with the Hornets, averaging 2.7 points and 2.0 rebounds in 67 games.
